In Pavlodar region’s economy, the key sectors are agriculture and industry with a focus on energy and manufacturing
The key factors determining the industrial production of Pavlodar region are rich fuel and energy sector and     water resources. Industrial companies contribute to one third of GRP. In industry, manufacturing dominates (its share is 64%). Economic concentration is located in the cities of Pavlodar, Ekibaztuz, Aksu, and districts of  Pavlodar, Sherbakty, Uspen, Bayanaul.
